TRUSTEE PROFILE

The trustees generally meet on the 3rd Monday of each month to consider grants received and distribute the available net proceeds to the community. Grant applications should be with the Trust at least 7 days prior to a meeting.

The trustees of Endeavour Community Trust are:

David Bennett David Bennett is a Chartered Accountant in public practice. He is the director of Bennett Currie Limited a Palmerston North based Chartered Accounting practice which also has an office in Wellington. Mr Bennett was a trustee of Unison Trust since its formation in April 2001. He is currently the Chairman of Endeavour Community Trust.
Guy Sargent Palmerston North based businessman who is a strong supporter of local businesses, schools and sporting organisations.
Stephen Morris Professor of Animal Science at Massey University. Involved in sports administration for over 35 years.
Mark Sowman Insurance Advisor, Company Director, Executive Trustee of Endeavour Community Trust. Mr Sowman was the Chairman of Heretaunga Community Trust since its inception 12 years ago. I am passionate about the positives the gaming industry can provide for the wider community. He has been involved in sports and community organisations in Hawkes Bay for over 30 years.
John Curran A Hastings based Motel Operator for 15 years. Interested in all community and sporting affairs.
Malcolm Tibbles Company Director, Builder. Mr Tibbles has a strong affiliation with community organisations and was a trustee of Heretaunga Community Trust for six years.
Dennis Buckley Company Director Mr Buckley has a long history in the hospitality industry over a number of years. He is a former trustee of Heretaunga Community Trust.
