A Problem Gambler is a person “whose gambling causes harm or may cause harm” Endeavour Community Trusts policy to minimise any harm caused by gambling is, where possible, identify problem gamblers, intervene and offer appropriate assistance as per the Gambling Act 2003 requirements. Where venue personnel believe in good faith a persons gambling behaviour displays evidence of harm or potential harm they will undertake all reasonable steps as required by the Gambling Act 2003 necessary to offer that person advice and assistance and/or exclude that person from the gambling area of the venue. If you consider you are a problem gambler, you may request venue personnel issue you with an exclusion order under the Gambling Act 2003. Once an exclusion order is issued, you will be prohibited from entering the gambling area of this venue for the time specified in the order.
