Endeavour Community Trust is a duly incorporated society that has the following criteria as its authorised purpose:
Funds for the promotion of amateur sporting teams or clubs who have been formally established and or legally constituted. To provide for the conduct of race meetings for the benefit of the public and to promote and control those meetings, including:
(a) The provision and maintenance of grounds, buildings and facilities where these are primarily used for race meetings;
(b) Stake money for any types of races
(c) The provision and maintenance of on course facilities for horses and greyhounds, trainers and jockeys;
But excluding the following:
(d) payments, other than stake money, to horse or greyhound owners or trainers;
(e) payments to professional jockeys;
(f) activities or expenses in connection with the breeding of racehorses or greyhounds.
Grants will be issued for the purposes that will enable those teams or clubs to play or participate in their sport, improve their skills and provide support for these organisations with the conduct and development of their sport. Examples include provision of playing and training uniforms and equipment, facility improvements, ground hire or tournament fees, travel and accommodation costs. No payment will be made to any player or team competing on a professional basis.
Funds for non profit community, cultural and recreational groups or organisations, which have been formally established and or legally constituted, to assist those groups to participate and or develop their activities
Donations to recognised charitable organisations to assist those groups to provide targeted assistance to those in need in areas of health, relief of poverty, social services and the like.
Donations to schools and other educational institutes to assist with the provision of equipment or services which foster learning and development the continuous learning and development.

Availability of Net Proceeds
All applications received will be given due consideration by the trust.
The Trustees of Endeavour Community Trust are committed to returning funds generated in a geographic location back into the local communities, however should your application be outside the areas that the trust operates gaming machines your application will still be given due consideration by the trustees.
The trustees generally meet on the 3rd Monday of each month to consider grants received and distribute the available net proceeds to the community. Grant applications should be with the Trust at least 7 days prior to a meeting.
ANNUAL REVIEW
On the 22nd September 2010 the Endeavour Community Trust Board of Trustees held their annual review of the criteria, methods, systems and policies that they implement when considering the distribution of the net proceeds from class 4 gambling at their venues and advise that there has been no changes.

- Complaints relating to the distribution of proceeds must be in writing addressed to the Chairman, Endeavour Community Trust, P.O. Box 54064, Mana, PORIRUA 5247
- All complaints will be considered by the Board of Trustees and a written response provided to the complainant within 20 working days.
